Lauren is a producer for WBEZ’s local news broadcasts. Previously, she worked as a facilitator at the StoryCorps booth in Chicago. Lauren was also a production fellow at KNOM in Nome, Alaska, where she reported live from the finish line of the Iditarod sled dog race. Her work in Alaska earned five statewide awards. Before getting started in radio, Lauren got a B.A. in art history and wrote a thesis about monasteries in northern Greece. Outside of work, you can find Lauren performing in comedy shows across the city or eating a lot of Swedish Fish.
